1. Who we are

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need:

• Information you give us. Your first name, email address, company name, and the contents of any message you send through a form or by email.
• Newsletter and lead-magnet data. Name and email when you request a free resource such as The Search Engine Cheat Sheet, or subscribe to the Monday Morning Marketer.
• Booking data. Name, email, and any details you enter when scheduling a call, handled by the scheduling provider named in the booking flow.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, referring links, approximate location by IP, device and browser type, and time on page — collected through cookies and analytics.

We do not collect payment card details on this site. Book purchases happen on Amazon under Amazon’s own terms and privacy policy. Where we sell anything directly, payments are processed by a third-party payment processor and we never store full card numbers.

3. How we use it

• To deliver the resource, newsletter, or reply you asked for.
• To schedule and hold calls and workshops.
• To send occasional relevant updates about books, courses, and workshops. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• To understand which pages and topics are useful, so we can improve them.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to understand traffic. Analytics data is aggregated and used to improve the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential parts of the site may stop working if you do.

5. Who else processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers — website hosting, an email service provider, an analytics provider, and a scheduling provider. They process your data only on our instructions and only for the purposes above. Specific provider names and processing locations are confirmed by Tom before publish.

6. How long we keep it

Newsletter and lead records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact and client records are kept for as long as needed to serve the relationship and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what is collected and the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This site and our services are for business professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do, and material changes will be announced on this page.
